Davis Families of NE North Carolina, those who went to Texas and those related by YDNA to William Benjamin Davis, born ca 1839 in Georgia, died 1926 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas whose parents were from North Carolina. I have not been able to discover a death certificate. He said he left Georgia in 1855 on his Texas Confederate Pension.
