Introduction:
The information in this index is presented verbatim based on the spelling in the document. There are misspellings that are not corrected. i.e. I think ‘Squire’, which I treat as a given name may have been Esquire.
It has been pointed out that Apt and P’Poole are not real names. But they are presented as found.
Obvious place names are put under Places.
Some entries, because of the wide usage of descriptions are organized by topics. These include Associations, Business, Education, Occupation, Places, Politics, Religion and Tracts.
